Flaws of Time

Awhile ago, I have been doing research on the work of the old masters, both consisting of the earliest painters and photographers. I focused on things like theming and aesthetic choices. I chose to process my photos in cyanotypes because it was a very early photo process invented in 1842. I also found it reminiscent of Picasso's “Blue Period”, where he used various shades of blue in his paintings between 1901 and 1904. The theming choice on some of my pictures was inspired by Daggure’s, “Sands of Time”. Spending a little time focusing on the classic works of these two artists inspired me to come up with my end result.
