In this project, I aimed to construct a meaningful representation of a "heavenscape" of healing, drawing inspiration from the adage that "everything grows in rain." I sought to illustrate growth through vibrant flowers emerging from the chosen subjects. Grief is something we all encounter, and it manifests in different ways. This project is particularly inspired by the loss of my uncle Bobby and my cousin Darren, who passed away just a week apart in May of 2024. By channeling these experiences into my work, I hope to create a space for reflection and healing, encouraging others to find strength and growth amid their own challenges.
